Description
Lake Segrino is a small lake located in Northern Italy (Lombardy Region). The lake has discontinuosly studied, however the information available allows to reconstruct its trophic evolution, form the eutrophic condition of the mid eighties to the actual oligo- mesotrophic status. The lake has never been included in specifically funded research or monitoring programmes, so the data concerning the recent status are mostly unpublished. Within WISER phytoplankton, macrophytes and macroinvertebrates will be sampled.
