Description
Lake Monate is a small lake located in Northern Italy (Lombardy Region). The lake is the deepest among the Italian WISER lakes. It was relatively well studied till the 1980s, but recent data are lacking: therefore it is not possible to evaluate the trophic evolution of the lake. The present trophic state is oligotrophy. Whitin WISER phytoplankton, macrophytes and macroinvertebrates will be sampled.
